My friends and colleagues, for those who take this kind of work as a business, i know we drop a sweat here and there during shooting. either from excitement, fear, or sheer hard work. at the same time, we encounter some really hilarious scenes or comical actions that have us stop shooting just to laugh. please post a note, with a clip or a picture, that you found very funny while shooting. just for a laugh. BUT strictly related to the work or genre you undertake. ONE incident per person per day. give us a reason to laugh as we begin the day. here is one of mine.
while i was driving clients on a small road inside the park, i noticed a very big lion standing in the middle of the road about a 50 meters away. i turned towards the clients inside the car and asked them what they see ahead of us. they said "nothing!" and sure as hell, when i looked in front, there was nothing! a little embarrassed, i continued driving and then---there he was! the big lion. wasting no time, i told the clients there was a big lion on the road. "where? there is nothing on the road, Steve." again, when i looked at the spot i had seen the lion, it had disappeared! i thought i was loosing it and i went silent. i showed them a beautiful bird on the side of the road just as a distraction before we continue driving. just as i was about to drive off, a client shouted to me to stop. the lion had reappeared and sat right next to us in the middle of the road. all this time i saw it and then disappeared, it was hiding in a Calvert ( a drainage tunnel running across the road) and coming out to look around. now i had a reason to smile. i wasn't going bonkers after all
