Keywords and Concepts Article

In the article, it states: "Keep your keywords accurate - Often, clients will become familiar with your work after using it once or twice, which will drive their search directly to your collection when starting a new project."
My question: How does a client come to my portfolio and search it? I can't even search my own portfolio, and I know what's in it! (Unless I use the search in "My Uploads" which of course they do not have access to)
Would be nice, like as it is in ebay (suggestion) if clients could go to "My Store (portfolio) and search ONLY within it.
Also, would be nice to put the "In These Collections" area back on clip pages!!!
Thank you!

haha if the client knows the secret search codes like artist:dapoopta , which I doubt any of them know. There needs to be an advanced search dropdown where you can do very specific things... not just decide what media type you are looking for.

That would be a great trick to search for "businessman on cellphone" and only see my clips.
Gene, that is a great suggestion. But I have doubts that would be implemented.

Many of us have marketed and directed buyers here to P5 to buy instead of selling direct. It's only fair with P5 marketing, selling, collecting pay, storing our clips to share the sale with them. Yes there should be a very simple point and click to see any particular Artists portfolio. Seems like lately that individual Artists are being combined and hidden as individuals. A simple ability to type either and or the real name of an Artists or their business name to find their portfolio.
This nonsense of having to use programming language to find a particular Artist is crazy. Hiding Artists list and hiding the ability to contact an Artist directly seems counterproductive. What are Artists hiding from ... the Mafia hit squad? My guess the vast majority who are here as a business want to be found easily, quickly and be able to communicate simply efficiently.

When you click on one artist's avatar, it showed "Artist:your user name" in the search Box before, now this text is gone--empty. More damage is, the selection turn to "3D", why is that, can our intelligent IT expert fix it to footage (the first choice)??
Thanks

On another thread in the artist area, P5 staff have repeatedly stuck to the theory that individual artist search capabilities would not increase our sales. I call it a theory since it's never been a functionality of the site so it's impossible to draw a conclusion.
"Searching within Artist page - As I said in the initial post - we've found that almost no sales come from an artist's page - so that will not be worked on any time soon, I'm afraid. " - Lawrence link
They've made it clear that they have no interest in artists bringing in new buyers. Seems to be part of the "new" way of doing things that started March 1st.
