Questions about Copy Rights

I have two questions for you, that in a certain way are related to each other.
First Question: When we buy a song on Pond5 are we buying or paying for the music rights also? For example if I wanted to use one song in a Promotional Video could I use it or do I have to pay additional copy rights and to whom?
Second Question: Same time ago, I downloaded a free pack of musics and images that Pond5 were offering and used one of the musics on that pack in a promotional video that is located in Youtube, now it appears a commercial publicity related with copy rights. That happens because it was free only during a certain time?

They are both great questions luis but I think you should write to Pond 5 Customer Service.

They can give you the legal ramifications of your purchases and the free stuff and you will absolutely sure of your legal rights and responsibilities.

Besides anything else they are also nice and helpful people.

What you buy here is royalty free content. All what i know about it is that of course you can use it in commercial promotional videos, else it would make no sense to pay for it more than for any song in any music portal.
The only thing what you are not allowed is to resell the content in other stores or anywhere else.
Logic, or ?
