SFX Rejections

Hi Iberian. I see you have less than three hundred files so you haven't been very active the last 3-4 years. With music there are just too much similars with very little to no differences. You need to make music that is different and better than the millions that are already on-line. There are probably dozens of threads about the exact subject you are asking about. Read the forums and you will see a lot of discussion. Good luck.

Thanks to Pond5 and wish you All good luck in sales here. I would like to talk about my confusion with sound uploads. I am not a beginner in sound design, I respect this market (My Professionalism as well) and always use to upload quality sound effects.
Last 4 month I try to upload my new sound effects here, since this period I uploaded couple of them. but all these sounds was rejected by reviewers. I sell sounds and music in Pond 5 about 3-4 years and never see so many rejections and I do not know reason, why? Do I have to upload my sounds again or stop to do it?
It makes me very sad to wait 1 month for review and see my files rejected with out any reason (in my opinion).

Amazing that "Artists" start a thread then delete what they said or questioned. If it's important enough to write it then stick to your guns and don't delete the posts because you don't like the answer.

I just tried to delete the post not because I don't like your answer, I just wanted to replace it on another similar thread. I tried, but it could not.
Anyway, thanks for answer buddy, it was not what I would like to hear, because I would like to know what I have to do with my sounds (not music) to be approved. I am an invalid and sell my files on markets like this is very important.... but... anyway...thanks and good luck to you too.

Maybe you'll best write an email to pond5 staff.
In this forum, we artist (and a few clients as well) are mostly to ourselves, unfortunately.
The subject of mass rejections has been widely discussed in here, but without any real conclusion. We all suffer the problem that no one tells us what will be rejected and why, and what won't. So it's just "trial by fire"; that's why I stopped uploading since some time.
I can't really give you a better clue, as said: best write pond5 staff per email. Cheers & good luck!
