Exported 4k video is cropped using adobe premiere

I am trying to export some 4k videos using the media encoder that comes with adobe premiere cs6. I set the format to quicktime .mov, resolution to 3840x2160 and codec to photojpeg. The exported mov file is cropped - only the middle part is visible, about 60% of the original files. When I view the properties of the exported files, they will say the frame width and height are 3840 and 2160. This is my first time dealing with 4k videos so I m wondering if I am missing some steps. This is a windows 8 machine with quick time 7.7 installed.

Make sure you have "Square Pixels 1.0" set as well as Progressive when exporting.

I already have those two settings, but no luck. :(

If you are looking at the P5 data entry page where you add description and keywords the preview that P5 now has is screwed up and looks cropped on both sides. All indications are that the actual file is ok.

No, I m just looking at the output file. I tried it at least 3 times, same result. Very confused.

make sure you are working in a 4k project file. I think cs6 was different where you had to define it when making the project, VS now you can just drop the video onto the timeline to generate a new project.
