Canon 5D and 7D no sound files

I was trying to use CineForm Neoscene to transcode my Canon 7D files into .avi files, so I could edit them better in Sony Vegas.
Long story short Neoscene would not transcode the files, so after a week with CineForm tech support, who are excellent. They found out the issue.
If you have put one of the popular profiles into your camera menu, that is going around the internet, which turns off the sound, you may find Neoscene wont transcode those files.
Neoscene have written a new version and it now works with or without sound.

I'm not sure, it was build .133 perhaps contact support
