I'm new to Pond 5, and I wanted to know if there are interesting ways to promote the music besides uploading to the site.

You could do the usual social media mentions, such as Facebook, Instagram and similar. When I've posted things of interest to a certain community, I've posted about them on community forums for that community. I don't know if helps, but it can't hurt.

Not so much Facebook for me but I get the most traction on Instagram and Twitter.

I have my own website and Youtube channel, though I prefer promoting my Youtube channel only. I add my every new video to dozens of video websites and social media websites, where it's allowded. You can do it manually, but I usually pay other people to do it, because it can take a lot of time.
