Founded by director Tom Sands in 2009, Substantial Films is a production company that employs strong narratives and powerful storytelling to deliver films with substance. Since 2009, we have produced seven feature-length documentaries, filming in the most unique locations in more than a dozen countries. We also make music videos, commercials, virals and, where we can control the scripting process, corporate films.
