Curated Collection

Footage created in "4K Over-Resolution" to an aspect ratio of 2.35:1 for cinematic movie production. With the resolution of 5076 x 2160 pixels, this gives you a few unique options for your production. You can crop both a DCI 4K video (at a 17:9 aspect ratio of 4096 x 2160 pixels) and a UHD 4K video (at a 16:9 aspect ratio of 3840 x 2160 pixels) out of the middle without suffering any loss in quality as the video will still be pixel-for-pixel perfect. Doing so even allows the creation of a "virtual pan" by moving the cropped area over time. If your production is using the Cinemascope aspect ratio of 2.35:1, you can simply scale the entire video to fit within your production without having to "throw away" the top and bottom of a standard 16:9 aspect ratio video... you can also zoom up to 32% on a standard 4K timeline with no loss in quality.
