We are in Central Greece in the region of Attica. Port Piraeus is about 7 miles south-western of the center of Athens. It is a very important harbor of the country. This region of the mediterranean sea is called Saronic Gulf. It is in the same urban area like Athens and there is a lot of local passenger transport between the cities.
