An evening in Alanya Turkey. Tourist are browsing the street craft market on Cleopatra Beach by the new Teleferik Cable Car. The local artisans, including sculptors, flower making, jewellery designers and artists demonstrate their skills and show how they handcraft their items for sale. The market is lit and each stall shows is engraved with Alanya Beledeyesi (Local Council) who support these local craftsmen by providing retail locations in busy tourist areas in order to sustain traditional crafts that may otherwise die out. The footage set includes crafts such as painting, drawing, knitting, sculpting, jewellery making and crocheting.
