A French island in the Caribbean. It is European also. Stones and sand are dominated by volcanic rocks. We make a trip to the part of the island, which is called "Basse Terre". There are small simple villages along the coast. Because of the volcanoes on the west side of the island the rocks are black and the sand on the "Plage de Malendure" is gray.
