The Suez Canal in Egypt connects the Mediterranean and the Red Sea. It splits the Asian and the African continent. Behind the east shore there is the Asian side with the Sinai peninsula, behind the west shore there is the African continent. We pass the city Ismailia and come close to the villa of ex-dictator Mubarak. We filmed impressions of our course through the desert till we arrive the Mediterranean Sea. A giant high-level road bridge over the Suez Channel, the Friendship Bridge (until 2011 also "the Mubarak Peace Bridge") is also on our way.
