Qaqortoq is a nice small town in the southern of Greenland. There is a population of about 3.200 people. The nice city with its colorful wooden residential houses is in the Kujalleq municipality. There is an old town square with a wooden church, a wild creek and the oldest fountain of Greenland. There is spouting water out of the whales blowholes. Round about there are the mountains of south Greenland. In the summertime there is snow only on the highest of them. With a little bit luck you can see a whale in the bay.
