We are in the old town district "Dalt Murada" and we visit the basilica "Catedral de Santa Maria de Palma". The big cathedral of the island capital city Palma de Mallorca is in Gothic style architecture. The construction work of this episcopal church took about 300 years, from 1306 until 1601 AD. But there are different notes to the construction period. You can see it from far away on a plateau at the wide coast street of Palma. If you come closer, you can admire the facade of the nave with its Gothic ornaments.It is really a special cathedral. Our recordings are made in dreamlike daylight with absolutely blue sky. The Air is very clear, because it's not high season, here we have early spring.
