Using pond5 music track???

hi ppl, i need help here, i wanted to know if i can use any music track with pond5 watermark in my aftereffects project preview only, which i am planing to put it on pond5. and i will put a link to the pond5 artist page for buyer if they like the music. or do i have to request the artist to do so?

Would imagine you would have to ask the artist first.

I would say no. The watermarked are only to see if it fits your project and not for distribution of the project. If you feel the sample will work then you would need to buy the music for distribution. Good luck.

thanks rekindlephoto, but what about the free sample "New: 25 Free Sound Effects Download Now" thing on the main page? and the music will not be included in my project, it's just for the preview video on pond5.

I would believe the free ones offered are under the same release restrictions as if you bought the music. You can use it according to the published release restrictions on the P5 site. I still do not believe it is ethical or legal to publish anything using watermarked products even if it is on P5. By publishing it on P5 you are still indeed using it for advertisement purposes in reality.

If it's for preview only with watermark, and you are not supplying the music with your AE project and have the permission from the artist there is no problem.
