Totally Free Favorites

Hold it! It's not about totally free clips, but about clips made entirely using free software(OS included). There is no way to check how a clip was done but we rely entirely on the submitters honesty and I know that all the constant submitters are honest people.

If you have time, please specify the software used - but this is not a must.

So, here is the first clip done entirely using free software:




(Ubuntu 10.10, Blender 2.56, Gimp 2.6, and Cinelerra 2.1.5 CV).

He means there is code in your video that allows to track where it came from.

Mark, you are right, generally speaking, but right here, in this thread, no, there is no way to check it.

It all depends on what type of Render Engine was used to generate the file. Many use third party renderers (even free ones) which may be rendering for "NOT FREE" software.

My clip was rendered using Blender's internal render engine. By totally free I mean what I stated in my first post: the entire pipeline must be of free software(including the OS).

In order to not create one more thread(of 'partially free') I think that we could include here clips that were produced partially using free software and the poster should mention which part was done using free software.

Is that list exhaustive in scope?

I dont think so, it was just a sample of the various renderers that are out there.
