Curator lag time?

Hello,
I am just getting my start here. I have a handful of clips in the curator queue but nothing has happened with them for 7 days. Is that normal or am I missing some thing? When I search by filters my clips show up as being in the queue but not online.

They got behind in December and never caught up... My last batch was approved after 3 weeks... It partly depends on the size of your batch as I have read about small batches getting approved in a week or less.

I have 500 but started with about a dozen to check it out.

I have noticed about 3-4 weeks for approval since late November. If it is over 4 weeks, send a private message to curator or curator2 and ask why, they are great about responding to requests (in my experience). Welcome to p5.

Hello Everyone

The current wait for approvals is between 2 and 3 weeks, still very fast in comparison to other sites. We understand that this is not what everyone has been accustomed to at Pond5, especially when, as recently as last year, there was a 'few days' wait. We are making improvements to the curatorial process to ensure quicker approvals, including increasing staff.
Please keep in mind that there has been a significant increase in new contributors and quantity of uploads from our long-standing contributors and this is all a good sign for the entire community. Ideally, we would like to maintain a 'less than 7-day' wait in the approval of clips, and we are striving for that target.

We appreciate the forum posts and inquiries but if you have any specific concerns or questions regarding anything on Pond5 please do not hesitate to contact us directly.

But I'd suggest moving this to the artist only area. Buyers don't really need to read this, do they?

The only reason it's here is that VJ_032981 has no clips on line yet.

Do they email you when the clips have been reviewed?

Yes you will receive an E-mail notifying you that your clip have been reviewed and posted.
