Why is there no sales and no views. Are all creators in pond5?

You have 11 tracks and no sales our of thousands that people can choose from.
Upload a few hundred more then come back here.

Do you need to upload hundreds of music works for sales?

Do you put focus in your keywords and tags?
Feel like that helps.

You’ll need hundreds of files uploaded before you can expect to see regular sales.

When there are tens of thousands of audio tracks and you have 11 yes, you need many more to be seen.
Keywords are the way they are even viewed.
But then the buyer will have those other tens of thousands to select too.
Do your audio tracks show any views? If that question is no, that is your first problem.
I hate to sound harsh but I’ve been doing this since 2007 and I see new people asking the same thing over and over.
Then they start blaming the site for no sales when it’s both a numbers and quality game to be seen and then to sell.

Even in the glory days of stock when you could actually make a living of it, 11 tracks would be almost nothing. You need hundreds of tracks to make regular sales, nowdays probably thousands to make any kind of meaningful income.

Newbie question here.
People are talking about posting hundreds of songs. I've been on SoundCloud for around three years and have uploaded maybe around fifty songs. Writing a song takes time.
How do you do that many songs? I wonder if we are talking about thirty second ditties with two chords or what? No judgement or offense intended - I am asking seriously.
Maybe I should listen to some songs that are selling? 🙂

Writing music for media - production music, music for games, movies, commercials etc is a game of speed as much as musical knowledge. Turnaround times for custom work in this industry are insane, I've had requests to write full tracks in less than 24 hrs and that is kind of expected from composers nowdays. If you can't deliver, they'll find someone who can. For production music you should be able to produce at least 2 tracks a week and have them be high quality. It's a learned skill, but having a good workflow and technical skills helps as well. Use templates, know your styles well, don't get stuck in playback mode (listening to what you just recorded 20 times over) and don't be a perfectionist. We're not creating art here. We're creating a product. You approach it as such. Will it do the job? Yes? Move on, who cares if the snare doesn't sound "perfect".
