ClipBin suggestions

Hi!

I decided to create a separate thread for this very important topic.

May be some suggestions about ClipBin are in your's ToDo list, but there are few:

a. option to make ClipBin publicly available
b. possibility to include a link to ClipBin into every clip's information page
c. option to send a link of ClipBin to customer (Pond5 user)
d. possibility to add a link to ClipBin to user's frontpage and possiblity to include few thumbnails located on Pond5 server for ClipBin. This could make each user's frontpage look differently from other's.

Excellent ideas, Zygistudio - extra Clip Bin functionality is definitely on our ToDo list.

I'm a little unclear on your point d., though - by 'frontpage' do you mean the user's Artist page, the MyPond page, or the Main page?

'd' point is for Artist's page.

If you would allow us to add to the Artist page html code with links to internal Poind5 locations (and give examples) then each Author could make individually looking pages.
The place of this addition could be after the 'Send Sitemail' hyperlink and before 'Mini Portfolio' and entering of html codes could be in the Author's 'profile' page.

Aha, I understand. Good idea - we'll give it some thought and see what we can come up with.

For the moment, you can edit the text in the 'about me' section of your Artist page, and add pretty much anything you want. Including links to clips, like this:

(this is done by clicking on the "clip" button in the formatting pallette below).

Thanks! I can tell that I never checked buttons "Link" and "Clip" at the bottom of this and similar dialogs. I checked how these buttons work and can tell it is Excellent idea how to create a scripts to show additional info in the Artist page.
Is there a way how I can include a link from my Artist page to my ClipBin?

It seems that I can enter duplicate ClipBin names. Now I have these: 'Winter', 'Winter', 'Winter' and 'winter'.

Also, would be good that names of ClipBins would be sorted in all listboxes.

The features on the artist page rock! I'm just starting to play with them. Here is a https://www.pond5.com/artist/crackerclips to our artist page. I have encountered a slight formatting problem when you click on the "click here" link.

Zygistudio - Check this out also as it is how I was able to link to an entire clip bin (formatting problems aside).
