Dear pederpad,

Way to go on the sales, this is what gets me excited about pond5, very inspiring!

Love the Cows in the snow! Kids. Fishing. River. Beautifully done. And that hip shot! Holy smokes!

Keep them coming sir! My advice, I'd like you to get a bunch of different angles as well (if you haven't)...Just a thought.

Producers, like to be able to have something to play with, some wiggle room.

For instance, maybe you could capture something like this. River scene, kids coming through the woods, with their chairs, they set up, "PLOP", in goes the bobber (close up), kids LAUGH...hahaha...the bobber goes under (another close up)! Whoa the kids go nuts...forget about the pole and run to the bank...they jump up and down, then close up on the pole goes flying into the river...

You know, all of a sudden you are leasing clips like, "plain river scene", "kids laughing", "kids in chairs" which has nothing to do fishing, then clips with "tackle boxes"," kids putting worms on hooks", "fishing in general", "POV fishing" and some fisherman loves the "pole flying into the water gig" and leases those clips for his new product ad, on his local television station, to sell his "stay-put" fishing rig...or something.

Just some thoughts, I am sure you get the idea. Remember, "wiggle room".

Sincerely,

Thanks LiftedCreation!

I love that idea I'll keep that in mind on future outings.

Is there anyway to associate one clip with another? So its easier to find say the same shot at a different angle?

can you put links in your descriptions or something like that?

Congrats on your first sales, very nice indeed!

You can create 'collections' (previously called clip bins) to organize your clips. For instance, you could make a collection called 'Farm footage' for your agricultural clips. These collections will be visible on your artist page and also below a clip that's in it (click on the 'Collections containing this stock video' tab).
