Why all my media has zero views?

Hi,

Im a newbie in Pond5. I have uploaded high quality drone footages, however there is zero sales (Which Im ok with), but what concerns me there is zero views for all my media. I have added tags for all my media. But looks like Im doing something wrong. Any advise?

There are over 37,000,000 footage clips on Pond5. You have uploaded 8.

You need "many" more (hundreds/thousands) clips. And then wait a lot of time before search results begin to list your footage higher in search results for buyers to notice.

I aggree with PCDMedia. You have 8 videos. Stock isn't easy, you have to put massive effort in to see any returns at all. You need hundreds absolute minimum but realistically thousands. I nearly have 2000 video clips now, but I'm very aware that even that isn't going to generate much income.

In some cases you're competing again professionals who've been doing it a long time, they know how to colour grade properly and will do a better job. To be blunt, flying a drone set to auto everything then uploading it isn't the best way to do things as anyone can do that.

You also need variety. Look at the recently sold thread, it'll give some guidance to what sort of things sell. Often it's the most mundane things that people want. Create what others will want, not what you like.

Totally normal. You just need to get used to it. Out of 38 million clips on Pond5, only 1.75 million clips have ever sold at least once. So, having only 8 clips, it's likely none of your clips will sell at least once. So, your goal should be to upload at least 1,000 clips to raise your possibility of selling clips.

I have around 5000 images and video and receive between 5-20 views a day, there are stock sites on pond 5 with hundreds of thousands of video, stock for most is a tiny amount of money compared with hours making video and editing them,you are late to this game and think how many sales are made a week on pond 5 compared to the millions of videos on the site, add to this the people that believe they will sell more by setting ridiculously low prices and the stock industry, is now a lottery, which is why 11 years after joining I only have around 5 k of images and video, I could have worked like a maniac and had 30000 but for the effort the income would still be ridiculous

Clips look great, I can not see the tags you used, beautful area. If you have not done so in your tags and description put the name of the bridge. this will certainly help. best of luck !
