I was having a good pay period with good sales almost every day until about 5 days ago, and then suddenly nothing! How are you all doing?

I think it may be too soon to say if we're being affected by whats going on.
I had 2 sales last night. So far this month I had 6 sales, September at this time I had 8. August was 2 so I'm doing better then 3 or 4 months ago.
I really think a lot of buyers are looking for holiday things right now.

Nothing since last Friday, a six day drought. This is the longest time without sales maybe the entire year. Not sure if it's the economy but definitely something. Views are ok, not as many as normal but the number of views should have resulted in at least 4-5 sales.
Frank, you have great work, really makes me want to get out in "the third world" countries. I visited a lot of similar places when in the military and really enjoyed meeting the people. Sure wish Ihad the same opportunities again like you.
Let's hope for rain, this drought is not good.

For what it´s worth it with my comparably modest portfolio: My sales have gone up recently, especially here. Seems that we are also getting more european buyers now. Well done P5!
Let´s hope they find a way to regain trust and inject the money back into the system. It hasn´t been created in the good times, and it does not evaporate in the bad times. It just changes the owner, as always. For the next period of growth, I hope it´s gonna be based on people spending what they actually can afford, and not on money that they borrow without being able to pay it back. That´s just an illusion, and the bill would be the next crisis...
Talking about 3rd world countries: Let´s also not forget about the many really poor people in the world and, at least, donate once in a while. They do never participate in the game but just sit there without food, water and health care and watch the others playing around with the colorful papers with numbers on them...
Cheers,
Stefan

I've seen an increase in the last few weeks, but it's holiday stuff mostly.

From the time the bailout talk started until the beginning of this week, I got shut out. This week I've had 5 sales, including 4 in one day this week. The 4 all arrived in one email, and it was over a $100 surprise!

OK, five sales last night. I guess not all projects have been put on hold ...
By the way, I have noticed the last month or so that I only get one sale notice a day and it usually comes through between 2:30 AM and 4:30 AM. Is Pond5 just holding all sale notices and releasing them as one email in the middle of the night or is this an indication that the sales are coming from Europe?
