So i just found this website last night. I posted a clip and i dont know if anybody is been watching my clips. How can i know that? Also how can i market my clip. Is there a special way. Please let me know. this website seems like an extremely good source, since im going up north where it snows here in ARIZONA, i want to take full advantage of this opportunity.

Now you go to
my pond-uploads and hit the edit button next to your clip.
Fill out the interface as good as you can (avoid putting more than 25 keywords), choose your sale price (or check the "set the price for me" option and put 10 USD. That´s just for the data base. Doesn´t mean your clip will sell for that amount. You can change the sale price at any time) and submit the clip to curator (reviewer).
Once the clip has been reviewed (calculate a couple of days but they´re pretty fast here. Could also be the same day), you´ll get a sitemail from curator stating if it´s online or if it got rejected. If it´s online, congratulations. It´ll show in the search results of a customer if you chose the correct keywords (don´t underestimate the importance of keywords. Go to "artist resources" at the bottom of this page and check the "search terms" clients are most often using).
Good luck,
Stefan
PS: Hit the "submit to curator button just one time. If you want to make changes to the interface afterwards, choose "just safe it, even if the clip hasn´t yet been reviewed).

Stefgo:
Where can I find a HELP MENU that explains these steps 1 2 3 4 5 6 etc?
Im also a newbie and its really difficult to follow steps when steps are not spelled out upfront.
Seems to be trial and error.

Once your clip has been upload to P5 the next step is to keyword it and submit it to the curator.
Now if you go to your preferences and turn on sitemail notifidations you'll receive an email from the curator when your clip has been approved and on line.

so i turned on everything, and i posted those clips and fill out all of the information. Now im guessing just wait right? how long does it for the curator to figure out prices and stuff. If the curator gets to my clips and thinks they are not right for the site, what happens next? are they rejected and therefore not shown on the site for sale, but i can still view the clips?
Thanks.
I know these are dull questions, i apologize in advanced but i am just trying to get the hang, of this new site.
Once again thank you!

1=FTP upload
2=wait until the clip is available for editing data (that may take a short while but not long)
3=edit data for the clip by going to my pond - uploads and hitting "edit" in the line of your clip
4=when finished, press "submit to curator". Its status is now "pending review"
5=waiting for the review (can take a couple of days so be patient)
6=once the decision is made, you´ll get a sitemail from curator
7=if the clip got approved it is automatically online for sale. If it got rejected, I think you have to delete it in "uploads" or it gets deleted automatically.
Important: If you make changes to the data of a clip that is already pending review or got approved, you hit the "just safe" button at the bottom of the interface. Otherwise it would be put back to the beginning of the waiting queue.
Good luck,
Stefan

Note: If a clip is rejected, most of the time the curator will explain the reason why in your sitemail. It is important to read such information as it will help in future work you do.

okay cool thanks a lot for all of your feedback. I did all of the steps stefgo has posted is been 3 days since i posted my 1st clip and nothing has happen. Im getting a little concern, i have not received anything from the curator. I am hoping i did everything i was supposed to do.
I upload my clips using the other uploading option besides ftp. Could that be a problem.
I can still see all of the clip i have upload on my profile and stuff.
Thanks!!!
