'Submit to Curator' for an Already Approved Clip

What happens if you revise an already-approved clip and hit "Submit to Curator" instead of "Just Save It"?

Does it go thru the approval process again?

Yes, I think so. At least that's what I remember from it happening once before.
Is it in your "curator queue" folder or still online?

I did it once (by accident) and got a very funny comment after I clicked the button, can't remember exactly what it said, something like well that was pointless, nearly peed myself

I get the impression that there are a few things here on P5 that need polished, from a programming perspective.

yes if you hit the submit to curator button, your clip goes back into review mode, so it is no longer live.

I like the way the way the site is set up, very easy to use, and love the templates option so I don't have to keyword all the time.

I'm not saying this site is "bad" by any means, I'm just saying that certain things aren't as polished as they could be.

But then again, what site isn't that way? There are much worse situations out there on the web.

But back to my "Submit" button issue: If a clip is already approved and you go back to re-edit it, that button should then say "Re-submit to Curator" or something. Then the other button should say "Go Live with Changes", or the like.

If you need to edit a clip tyhat has already been approved use the JUST SAVE button. Do not re-submit.

There are situations resubmitting makes sense; If you have a clip which needs some release agreements and you attach these after the clips has gone online, you'd need a curator to update the status of the clip so that it doesn't warn potential buyers that it's editorial only. One could argue that all additional attachments would put the queue on the curator queue automatically but that could make the clip go to the curator queue unnecessarily much if the curator reviews the change after the first attachment has been made.

In case you're just updating the description or something, jason got it 100% right.

I think I jinxed myself. I revised an already-approved clip, and accidentally hit the "Submit to Curator" button.

Now, the clip is back in "pending" status.
