New P5 Pricing notice

I’m one of the artists that like to price things at $59.99 or $79.99 etc. I see you are going to change pricing to $60 or $80 in this case. Are you changing all old footage pricing or just new ones?

I would so much rather have the .99 deleted and leave the prices at $59.00 and $70.00

Since I price footage at different prices the ability to bulk re-process from your $60 or $80 to $59 or $79 would basically be impossible with 12,000 clips. Is there a way to drop the .99 cents and round down instead of up. $79 sounds a lot cheaper to a buyer than $80.

you really think it makes a difference? Are you trying to get the 'arrange by price' buyers? Price at $10 then ;-)

Naaa, would never do anything for ten bucks. And also not trying to arrange by price or cut-off searches. I don't think there are any or at least not many businesses that sell for an even dollar amount. No gas stations, no Walmarts, no Targets, No B&H or Adorama, no Cabelas, no Bass Pro Shop ... heck can't think of any business that sells for even dollars. I'm sure someone will be argumentative and give a list that do but it will be a very small list of non major retailers. It been a business practice a lot older than anyone here; long before we were born. Does it matter ... well I would guess that Walmart, Costco, Target, Sam's Club etc etc have a lot of money in marketing research.

Don, In my opinion is better to do yourself this price change.
In upload page search in all online clips for: artist:RekindlePhoto pricelt:60 pricegt:59
The result will be 738 clips which is perfect if you select 800 clips view. Select all the clips and change the price as you wish.
The same with $79.99 clips search for: artist:RekindlePhoto pricelt:80 pricegt:79
The result will be 1532 clips so you need to apply the new price for the first 800 clips and after that search again with the same code and all the rest (732 clips) can be re price.

Maybe they will make all $5 dollar clips $20 and all $10 clips $30. This would influence sales more the .99 cents.

Did not see anything about upping the minimum prices, too bad.

Thanks for the suggestion on how to do a re-price search. Too bad one needs to be a programmer or understand programming to do such searches. All searches should be simple word searches and not code type searches. Another V2 type fix needed.

Given that there are a number of HD clips below the stated minimum for $10 they should at least make these $10.

Don, that is for you as an artist to edit yourself and I think this simple coding is great tool for us, artists.
Of course customers need to have simple and accurate tools to work with.
SevArt 22 Dec 2013 15:17
Customers already have a simple tool for price level. In advance search there is a slider for minimum and maximum price to work with.

Customers tool does not solve your request with changing your clips prices that's why "artists tools" are necessary even when simple coding is involved.

Maybe a list of all the simple coding is in need to be posted here somewhere.

@TE Where did you come up with the price of $10 for HD clips? Sorry to burst your bubble but the minimum price for all clips is $5 not $10 as you have stated. Sure the price should be higher but neither you nor I will convince P5 to change the minimums.
I've seen an artist with a R3D camera selling 4K footage for 10 bucks.
