10 second limit by still frame

I think 10 seconds are not enough for clips that are longer. I have many clips are 20-30 seconds long and have at the end interesting content for choice of still frame. Can you increase limit to 20-30 seconds?

WOW this subject has come up many many times and is always fun to discuss. There are other sites that absolutely will not accept anything over 15 seconds, other that have a file size limitation (kinda like here at 500Mb). In other discussions most agencies find that producers use a few seconds. For me it is sometimes difficult to cut a 25 second clip back to 20 sec or less. P5 is good about that. It has been said to cut a long clip in two parts and label as part one and part two. A buyer who really needs the extra length can then put them back together. I used to stay at exactly 20 seconds, lately I've dropped back to 15 seconds. I dunno. With most stock sales a person is lucky to have maybe a 3 percent of the clips that sell. I know we all think all of our clips are earth shattering but the storage for the 97% is huge. Maybe P5 could give us some stats on what percentage of clips actually sell per month and per year. As per a previous thread, the average clip takes about a half year to make first sale. The storage capability of P5 is enormous. Hey Marcus ... how much storage is used now?

It really is a call of P5 and a good suggestion to discuss and have them think about.

Have I missed something? Is the maximum clip length being cut back? Or is the OP talking about a maximum length of no discernable movement at 10 seconds?

wideweb .. you can select your preview screenshot from your videoclip, if you click on "Still frame offset" link on your edit site ... but only for first 10 seconds ...

hummmm ....ahhhh I understand. so allow still selection from the entire clip not just the first 10 seconds. Ok I get it ;) I've never worried about the still, default works just fine for me.

Thank you webclipmaker for explaining this, because recently P5 told me that the limit for clip length is 60 sec. OK, there is no contradiction here.
