Look to hire person for some studio work

What is the going rate for a college age person thats a beginner IE not a actual model.

Do I pay by the hour or sesson?

For people that aren't models, I pay $15.00 an hour.
If I use them again I pay $20.00 an hour.
I always tell them I pay for a 3 hour minimum, but it usually goes longer.

Now the second question. Do I have them sign a single release form for the sesson which later would be maded into several vids?

Or do I need to create all my uploadable vids and have them sighn a release for each one?

One release for anything you shoot of that person.
The release goes by the person not the videos, so you could have 100 clips of the same person and one release.

I was thinking about posting on model mayham or on craigslist for some models to do some videos. Not sure if I will offer to pay them...

Remember, you get what you pay for.

You may get some hits with that. Some people want to increase their own portfolio and do a trade.
Usually the trade is for photos so they can show prespective agencies what they do. I don't know if it would work for video unless you get someone that wants to be more of an actor or actress then a fashion model.

Craigslist will get you a TON of hits, because backstage (a publication for actors and models) looks at craigslist for auditions or gigs. You better pay them otherwise you will be blacklisted! lol im serious.

The second one for $50 an hour has a more stock look. She could be anything you want her to be.

lol funny story about that girl, her name is also the name of a porn star, and her credits are often mixed. Because people assume that she and the porn star are the same person. She should change her name.

Thats a cool site, I didn't know about that. People I know either use myspace, craigslist or they call up a talent agency.
