Pond5 Mobile App

Hi!
It would be great to have a Pond5 mobile phone application to allow us uploading mobile imagery right from the phone and, maybe, to allow us seeing stats and other stuff. I tried to upload via browser but I keep getting an unknown error. Mobile imagery could be in itself a category/area.
Regards,

Yes!!! I've been thinking about ir recently too. It's very difficult to use the website from your phone... An app may be an excelent decision.

It'll never happen, they have been promising WEB updates for 3 years that still haven't happened.

How about 4K to HD downsizing as promised so we don't need to upload both sizes. If the competitors can do downsizing and they have good mobile apps it seems P5 should be able to do it.
Hey Midweststock footage who are you? Your profile says you joined P5 on 15 Aug 2014 so how do you know what was promised three years ago ;)

Like Scott said ... buyer motivation should be first priority. Will a mobile app REALLY increase sales or will a new refreshed front page, more marketing, knocking on doors of end producers, movie, new agencies etc etc be a better spend of cash? Yes the current state of P5 on a phone or tablet is pretty poor. Are we losing sales because of that, or is a web setup something the sellers would like to use to check things out. Buyer ... buyer .... buyer is what matters. Things that other agencies have ... 4K to HD and different codex conversions might be a buyer enhancement.

Dont care about mobile app at thispoint, but there should be a way for a contributor to associate same clips with different resolution or framerates in the same page and be given the option for 2 or more pricing fields without having to send an email every time and wait.Plus it creates lists of duplicate files in the collection bins with the same name and it is a bit confusing to see which is which if you want to change price etc.
Another one would be to to make a universal system where someone would create links to clips or bins with mnore options for preview size etc in the description without having to copy paste code like crazy.
I also wouldn't mind for better conversion but only for the previews. Some types of footage get literally trashed after conversion at pond5 and i dont think that all buyers would depend on a screenshot to see the quality of a clip.
For example the clip below.

Oh and please someone give me a better suggestion for the name of this clip lol.

You are right, buyers do not use smartphones.

Ionescu pardon me for intervening but i hardly believe that most of the clips being bought are reviewed (not to mention bought) on a smartphone.Maybe someone performs a simple search there on his way to work or something to save time but thats it.Who in his right mind would pay X amount of money to review the quality of a photo or a clip in his phone or tablet? (well, tablet being more likely but still) .
Or worse yet who would perform a tedious, specific, time consuming search for clips on a phone?Given the way the search page works, that would make it less likely for you and i to have a sale.Something tells me that someone desperate to buy a clip off his phone would propably review the top clips from the top sales list.
Maybe it makes some sense to contributors to have an app to simplify or enhance the process of keywording or previewing their page while on the go,but that's it.
