I bought a clip on here today and was planning on using it in a project for a film class at school. I have Pinnacle 12 ultimate studio. However, I can't get the clip i bought to go on to the program. Can anyone help me out? because im planning on buying a lot more clips if i can figure this out.

Does Pinnacle 12 support Quicktime MOV files? Do you have Quicktime installed on your computer? Can you view the clip when you double-click on it?

According to the Pinnacle web site:

http://www.pinnaclesys.com/PublicSite/us/Products/Consumer+Products/Home+Video/Studio+Family/Studio+Ultimate.htm

It does not import Quicktime MOV files. Do you have Quicktime Pro? If so, you can open the file in Quicktime Pro and export it to AVI or WMV which is supported by Pinnacle 12.

Alternatively, Corel VideoStudio, Magix Movie Maker, Adobe Premiere Elements, Sony Vegas all support Quicktime MOV files directly.

If you put your video on YouTube or Vimeo, be sure to come back and post a link. We like to see our stuff in action. :)
