Cant see my downloades footage, Help!

I downloaded some footage tonight and when I open the file a quicktime window opens but it is just black... and when I play it the time line moves but there is nothing just black..... I am bummin cause I spent a bit of money on these clips.... when I downloaded the footage there was somthing that said: "Graphics" and under it it said "DV Video" i dont know if this is a codec I need or what?

Please someone help me I'm confused and frustrated.

I assume it's clip 326293 that is causing problems? It's in the DVCPro HD codec, which isn't supported on all systems. We'll go ahead and convert it to a format that will work for you, and provide you with a download link shortly via email.

Hi Tom Thanks for the help I will be looking for the email... Butt I am having the same problem with another video I bought wich is video #262478

It does the exact same thing as my other video...

Also the third video I bought called "Hazel Eye" downloads fine and I can watch the video but it has pieces of distortion throughout it..... I tried downloading it again but the distortion just moved to other parts of the video? I'm not sure what to do about that? Thank you for your help and time it is greatly appreciated!

Hi -- I just bought Clip 000647095 which will not show up either in Quicktime or in Final Cut. VLC will play it, but that doesn't help much since I need to edit with it in FCP. What to do?

That file is in a format that doesn't work with all systems. We're running a conversion right now, and you'll get an email when you can redownload it from you My Pond>Downloads page.
