The new dropdown menus are extremely annoying.
Every time I go to a pond5 page, I have to go to the top of my browser to pick the pond5 tab, and then pass the mouse to the center of the page, and no matter how quickly I do it, the screen goes darker, a huge menu pops up, and is slow to go away or doesn't go away. it is extremely annoying.
you should probably get rid of the part that makes the screen go darker, and set the tieout so that the mouse has to hover over the menu for a minimum time before it opens, no matter how I try to avoid it it never stops.

We just released a patch that increased the delay before menu pops up slightly. And for anyone that want to completely disable the automatic popup on hover, it's now possible to change it on your preferences page (last dropdown).

Give option to disable it. You know the person that came up with it is saying "they just need to get used to it, they complain about everything new" hahaha

Give it a few more milliseconds delay ... Maybe ... just maybe buyers like it but sellers generally don't use those menus. I'm too busy shooting, uploading and keywording to ever go browsing in any category tabs.

Drop down menus are bad even after the fix.
They are still hovering ALL available space on screen and delay time is still too short.
Prefs are not ideal solution 'cause some people (including me) are deleting cookies after closing browser (privacy settings).
As feedback = I'd describe new menu's behavior as aggressive and intrusive.

Thanks for the feedback on this guys, I'll let the team know that we're still not completely happy with the menus.
On a side note, I've had it happen where the menus get stuck "on" for me. Is this happening to anyone else? If so, please post with your OS and browser, and I can bring that information to the team.
