Sci-fi fans, care to share your work?
Following I will post a few of my images and animations and comments about what inspired them.

Do you like classic science fiction?
In movies especially, I noticed a tendency to confound the fantasy and science fiction genres, to the disadvantage of the latter. Do you feel the same?

Who are your favourite sci-fi writers that inspire you?
Mine are: A.C. Clarke, Asimov, P.K. Dick, and the Strugatsky brothers.

What sci-fi movies inspire you?
My (very long) list starts with: Contact, Blade Runner, Terminator, The Matrix

Here's my clip inspired by Contact

Thanks Counchpot - perfect sci-fi bg sound!

Please post here if you have more. Sound is a huge factor in sci-fi - especially sound effects.

Agree on all movies you listed and the AC Clarke book (my favourite is Childhood's End). Didn't read Approaching Oblivion.

thanks you ad300 I really like your work and if I am honest I am perhaps a little jealous of your creative skills.

I have quite a few Sdci-fi orientated tracks, including

I have tried to message u personally but Big Brother (is 1984 Sci-fi? i enjoyed that too) wont let me because it says that I have already done it. I do no think I did (i was going to then paused) i actually think there is a glitch in the matrix. If u did not get my message can u please message me with a hello and I will reply to that. Thanks again.

Do you like classic science fiction?
Yeah sure, I consider 2001 A space Oddyssey as the best science fiction movie ever made.

What sci-fi movies inspire you?
2001 A space Oddyssey, Event Horizon, all Star Trek

Really amazing animations! You've got some serious talent! A couple of my songs tend a little more toward the sci-fi, dystopian sound:
