Vertical/sideways video?

In public areas/stores/etc I've seen an increase in TVs that are mounted sideways. I was wondering if there's any kind of demand for stock video that's shot sideways, 9:16 instead of 16:9.

I created few vertical orientation clips but sold none.

well... when you do a search for 'vertical' this is the best selling clip:

with 1 download. But .. I think it's always a good idea to find a niche that has some potential. Maybe vertical clips are such a niche.

Reason could be that this is a HD clip for $15

No sales but very new so little or no views yet. It normally takes several weeks on a new clip before many views start. I think it takes a while for the Google crawler to find new footage. I'm not sure if vertical is the answer to sales yet. Most places will not accept vertical format. Kind of a novelty still.
