the new site
LivingroomClassics 25 Feb 2016 10:42
at a first glance, it seems a little chaotic and i fnid something wrong with the colors, dont know what...
has anyone checked if the adds to bin and to cart are working now with the new site?
LivingroomClassics 25 Feb 2016 10:44
also, i can't seem to be able to edit the comment i just posted (i typed fnid instead of find, but upon editing and saving the edit, it doesnt actually replace the text, it does nothing..)

the uploads is not working momentarily. and in the upload window, there seems to be the old design, with the orange and green color on the buttons, which dont match the new color scheme.
sorry for posting so many comments, just that i cant edit them :))

Hi LivingroomClassics! Nice that you noticed our remake. :-) May I ask you how you find the non-rebranded upload window?

(And I'll make sure you can edit your forum posts shortly again)

hi Jonas.
well it appeared after i tried uploading something and it gave the error (it couldnt upload), so
the popup appeared with the old buttons. but now i tried and the upload worked, so i couldnt get
to those buttons again. maybe i'll make a printscreen next time it errors.

but even now that the upload worked, the progress bar showing progress of uploading is green,
and the 'checked' square saying upload is complete for a specific file is a darker green (so the old colors).
the green is no longer in the new color scheme as i see, so perhaps it could be replace with a light gray
or a light pink (more like a light gray, since there is light gray in the scheme, but not a light pink, just a regular pink).

also, i notice that on the frontpage, the subtitles reads "Find inspiration by searching the largest library of royalty-free HD and 4k stock video". so no mention of music/sfx. i cant remember how it was yesterday with the old design, but this subtitle makes me think that p5 is mainly about videos, and some new client that hasnt bought yet from p5 might think its about only video, not music (although the music and sfx logos are below, but still, not in the subtitle...). maybe it will drive some new music/sfx buyers away..

(the buttons with 'close lightbox' and other 2 or 1) (edit not working still :D )

also, the color of the processing clips 'button' is a dark blue, as in the old color scheme i think.
in the new scheme, i see only this light blue color (as in the 'post reply' button below), so im thinking
the processing buttons were left unintentionally dark blue? or maybe this was the designer's choice..

and about those processing buttons, they have round corners, as opposed to all the new site, which is square, no round corners (and the new buttons are all rectangular). so perhaps they should be square too. even the pending buttons, saying "pending review", are rectangular, and by the way their text is all caps, as opposed to the processing buttons which are not all caps.

On the edit post, you must enter a "reason" for the edit. Is it still not working for you then?

Btw, thanks a lot for your thoughts above. I'll make sure to forward them. Audio is indeed important for us.
