When?

When will the new launch be? I'm hoping this could be a good option to other microstock sites, but nothing seems to be coming along. My patience is running short. I could go exclusive at another site and make more money and I'm getting really close to doing that.

Is that "the other place where you only get 20% royalties and get treated like a piece of c**p"

Our apologies for delays here.
Pond5 will be launching version 1.0 along with significant marketing, as well as search engine support efforts over the next few weeks and months. We'll keep you posted as these improvements occur. We understand your frustrations while waiting, and we appreciate your patience and desire for a better stock marketplace solution.
We are the ones that can deliver this to you.
Pond5 sales, new accounts and uploaded content are growing consistently. Improvements we’re working on now will boost growth and expand Pond5’s appeal. Please hang in there a little longer. We’re taking care to ensure that the transition to version 1.0 is a smooth one, and increased marketing efforts will sync up with the 1.0 launch. We're confident that we'll deliver a superior experience and better return for you.
Thanks

Now it's back to a few more weeks and Months?
I've stopped uploading content due to the lack of marketing, site visibility among the search engines and the launch of 1.0 that never happens.

I think Pond5 have enough clips, over 20,000, to put to the market. I do not know why there is always delay?? By the way my clips are waiting in my account to be review. That is also very slow.

Patuwe97 - your clips were reviewed 2 days ago (11/27). It looks like you resubmitted them to curator when you made an edit yesterday, which is not necessary. When you resubmit clips to curator, they go to the end of the queue - so this should only be done when additional curator review is required. When you make minor edits (for instance, changing the title or adding a keyword), click on "save", not "save and submit to curator".
We've got review time down to a couple days now, and we're aiming at getting it down to a day.

Thanks,
I appreciate it. And I like the name POND5 and the layout of the web. Looks very comfortable and welcoming. The white area is a bit boring. May be the version one will be different.
The editing festures also very good, saving as template is a very good thing. And tagging in one page. without clicking to next page for others.
Thanks again

Heck, you are almost giving your clips away at your prices. I can't hardly believe you could do better somewhere else. I do agree that marketing and a push will help. In Oct I sold 8 HD but nothing in Nov ;(. I really don't believe low give-away prices will encourage buyers. Make it worth while when you price clips, time, equipment and effort is worth more than what many sell for. Best of luck to all of us. Don

Phantomewo, That´s right. Video is totally different than pictures. It took much longer time to shoot, edit, upload, also heavier equitment than just a snapshot camera. I can shoot lot of pictures, but not video. For those want to sell micro price of video please think not only twice, even tenth...
