This things are worse than hurricanes. Can only be compared to a tsunami. Clips like this justify a category dedicated to WEATHER phenomena on top of the weddings category.

We have been out filming a motorcycle drag race and will be finishing today. Interesting thing happened here in the desert yesterday.. winds picked up, so did the temp... but finally after trying for 4 years, I caught a "Dust Devil" that was about the equivalent of an EF1 - had the 400mm zoom on it.. stay tuned... will be uploaded sometime next week. A dust devil is the inverse of a tornado. It starts from the ground up and usually rotates counterclockwise. This one reached several hundreds of feet into the blue sky and was probably, at its peak a fifth of a mile wide. We have not seen so many, nor such large ones here in years.
