My Vegas Presets - Enjoy!

Here are my Sony Vegas presets, it is a package that can be imported using the Sony Preset Manager.

Some good stuff here. They are basic then I make minor changes with the brightness and contrast.

There are movie looks for 300, Matrix, and quite a few others. I also have some custom ones I did for live shows. There are about 100 or so.

Love the 300, matrix, bourne Identity and the one you call "crap". :-)
I usually do FX processing in After Effects but for some complex or long shots I use Vegas but lacked the FX you gave here.

I am with you 110%. I spent my $$$ at first on plugs for after effects and found myself doing "double" render to get the same results. These save me a lot of time. No one really has the Vegas Plug-In market right now, there is certainly a need for it.

Glad everyone is getting some use out of them.

So I found a place that has Sony Vegas Pro 9, Sony Vegas Pro 9 Production Assistant and a TB raid drive for $500. I currently use Premier Pro CS3 and After Effects CS3. Is there any true value in Vegas over Adobe? Ease of use and speed to produce stock video?

It all depends on your workflow and feel for editing. I have used about everything out there, always went back to Vegas just because it seemed to work best with my style. I still fall back on Adobe products every once in a while. If AE had a built in editor for video and audio, it would have half the marktet for sure.

I love the fact that in Vegas Pro I can quickly make selections and batch render a whole series with very little effort. I just like the layout and overview of everything much better than Adobe PP. It is by far more intuitive IMHO.
