How do you level the camera with the horizon?
How do you eliminate white balance, shutter speed and F stop variations if it is a fully auto camera?

So does anybody here have shots in "3D" from this thing?

For example these: https://www.pond5.com/video-sound-effects-music-after-effects-photos-illustrations/1/phantomewo-3d.html

Cool little pair of gadgets. The plastic box looks a bit goofy though. I wonder if it breaks easily. Hmm...tens of thousands of silent video clips in stereo :) I can afford this.

Read up about it. Water proof to 180 feet. Two different case backs, one water proof and one with holes for better sound. The plastic case does not stop the sound. The cases are not a brittle plastic but actually very strong. All the parts are replaceable including the lens cover.

Thanks. I have read up on it a bit and watched as many videos as I could. I'm not knocking it.

Here is a comparison of similar video from the Canon 5D MK II with 17-40 L f/4 lens and the GoPro HD. The first is from the 5D and the second two are from the GoPro. Can you see the difference?

Cannot find item [7750655]!

Yes, in the 2nd and 3rd I see distortion. Straight lines appear as arches. Sorry, I cannot answer completely. I have to see the source files.
zygistudio 12 Jul 2011 08:08
Don, What are the files sizes (in MB) for all 3 clips above?
What lenses you used on GoPro? If I understood correctly the original lenses on GoPro are fish-eye (about 180 degrees) and in your clips they are not. Or I'm wrong?
LUXORPYRAMID 12 Jul 2011 13:15
That GoPro films better than what I thought when completely still sunny scenes with clear skies. The sky stays the same color through the clip. Only the "fish eye" distortion is noticeable and , is that your lens shade in the lower left corner?
Is there a software that fixes "fish eye" distortion?

I look at the details of the water reflections and the GoPro did a good job.

GoPro should make different "screw in" lenses.
