Welcome to P5.
Alot of the P5 crew are at the NAB show in Las Vegas and today is the last day of the show. Thing should be getting back to normal soon. A few of us have clips waiting for review so be patient. Normally clips are reviewed in a couple of days.

I just noticed that some of the clips on the "recently updated" page seem to have uploaded dates that are after some of my clips that are still pending review, for instance I uploaded and tagged a clip on 4/11/08. Is the review process entirely first-come-first-serve?
Many thanks to pond5 for creating a great service! I'm not complaining about the backlog (4/11 isn't even two weeks yet), just having paranoid nightmares about beta glitches and the seeming out-of-order-ness.

Generally, the review process is first-come-first-served. However, if the artist at the top of the list has a few clips from a later day, occasionally they will get reviewed in the same batch. So for example if the artist at the top of the cue has a bunch of clips from 4/11 and 2 or 3 from 4/12 or later, its likely that they will be reveiwed with the first batch. This is especially true if the subject matter is similar or if they form part of a group.

Klipper, are you sure when you say only 2-3 from a later day?. The problem for me is NOT the waiting time that they reviewed. The problem is that they are disappears in the “newest files” and I know of lot of people who are watching permanently this section.
I have here some experience that my new files disappears in the “newest files” on position 300 or later and NO, I didn’t re-submit them.
Is there any way to place the “newest files” sort order NOT to the date of upload rather than they approved?
Thanks,
Rudi
