Few years to wait till we have high speed recording in full HD

Image resolution at 250fs is VGA(640 x 360) adequate for online use. Scheduled for launch UK in september (no price) and October for Australia at $1099.

I remember CanadaFirst mentioned this camera in late 2010. At that time it was only available in Japan. Not only is 250 fps interesting but "Rapid-fire still shooting is also possible (3840 x 2160), at 50 shots per second, up to 130 shots total per burst." may be more interesting. 130 divided by 50 is 2.6 secs. Take the 130 stills, put them in your timeline and play with the time span per photo to get the 4+ seconds that Pond5 requires for 2k videos (2048×1536). Then experiment by increasing size to 4k.

@ wheijnen You don't have to wait years if you have the money to shell out for high speed.

Processor is 2k and 4k capable?....

Although it doesn't state the recording format. I am sure it is mp4 because of the statement; "Easy Upload to Youtube". Still it should take very good videos as other mp4 cameras shoot mainly at 17 mbs. This one doubles the bitrate.

A nice carry along camera to have with you all the time.
