Listing your camera model...

Do you guys think listing your camera model discourages buyers from buying your clip? I have a Canon HV30, and if a buyer knows that this camera is in the $800 range... do you think they would prefer a higher end camera produced video?

Nope, Although I now shoot with the Canon XH-A1 I believe most of my HD clips purchased so far have been from my old Canon HV-20. I don't see that at this time it has made any difference. In fact a couple of the clips bought by DreamWorks for their upcoming movie was from my old HV-20. Just make the clip as good as you can and have a subject matter that has a salable value and should not be a big problem.
The main reason I got the XH-A1 was it looks more pro and has opened a few more doors to places that would have been more difficult if I was just a tourist.

Same here. Most of my early clips were shot with a Sony HC1 and they still sell.
Correct lighting is the key issue with a single chip camera.

How do I look at other bins?
When I click on "clip bins" it only shows me mine.

I checked on the progress of the movie. It's supposed to be released in September. When I see mine in it (unless of course its on the cutting room floor as they say) , I think I'll stand up and do the happy dance.

I shoot with a Canon HV20, it is nice because I do a lot of hiking and/or bicycling to get to my locations.

Indeed the right light is the most important thing.

I rather invest in good tripods and glass than in an other Camera, although I drool over the 3CCD cameras.

Ya know I don't know how to look at the public bins either. I just logged out and kept refreshing until the Eagle Eye bin was visible and pasted the link for it.
