I have 31 clips up now. I was wondering if people might take a look and see which ones they like the best and which have the most potential to sell.

Thanks,
Rick

Do you have any shots of the kids cheating at soccer?

I think your atm and power meter have the most potential because they are concepts that editors could apply to their idea. Good luck and have fun hunting for content.

Thanks, those are two of my favorites. I think the light dimming demonstration has potential because it fits into the green category.

Going to need a lot of footage brother, I am still small time at 200, and people with 1000 are not getting constant sales. Keep up the good work though.

I agree the ATM and the power meter would be the most sell-able clips. If you want to know the potential of what can sell, research the image here on Pond5 and see if the category you want to submit to is saturated. Most likely ANYTHING you can get out of your car and simply shoot in N. America has a hundred shots just like it. If it is your shots go to the back of the search and most likely die there - sans sales. I address this research process a bit in a topic I wrote about http://www.stockvideoseller.com/public_html/topics/pricing-stock-footage-to-se.html. Think about what is unique in your area, your life that you can get access to. Inside a factory or a farm, rim of a volcano. If you are going to submit in saturated subjects, the ONLY HOPE you have of competing is on quality high production value shots. Best of luck!

I think you will do fine - I like the timelapse cars rushing by, cool audio too in them. I think they will start selling.

I like the bees - I love filming bees, but apparently bees dont sell much ;) mine dont - I think they need to be super-macro to really grab attention - Im on a big quest each year to get the perfect bee capture lol.

As Physics says you need a lot more - so keep doing what you're doing and you will see it happen sooner or later.

Thanks for all the advice guys. istockphoto has finally started approving some of my videos from two months ago, so that should help. I'm already getting a lot of views there.

Vegas is really good at preserving audio quality when you do timelapses--it pitch corrects by default. I tried this in Premiere and the audio gets totally choppy.

Istock treats the artists like crap though, jerking them around and changing the rules on the % you get... Your a diamond... your a crown symbol... Your an awful company! Your also about two years to late on the whole Istock thing, the exclusives are jumping ship all the time now.

Good news, I just had my first sale on Fotolia--my blurred college students walking to class.
