$50 price cap?

Agreed. Quality and price are the issue.
But out of 17 million videos even if there are a lot of crap videos, Pond5 still has the market cornered on excellent videos.
Especially lately, there are some pretty high production value actor released videos selling for less than $50.
I stopped hiring actors because I can’t compete with that.

SO with the slider up to $80 ALL of my exclusive are still cut out of the default search. That is why they have not sold. No other reason. I made them slightly higher priced because we were told that buyers want exclusive and they had told P5 they would pay more. So unless the exclusive prices are dropped no search results. For heck sakes P5 set the slider for HD at $99 as default and open the eyes of the buyers to what is available.

I wonder how much of the Reuters clips are shot by their photographers or are bought from independent or corporate shooters? If not shot by Reuters contracted photogs can they be sold or only used for Reuters in-house editorial?

@sebolla74: it would not be fair, if not anything else. Search a little on P5. I know; if they have same items on SS, it is fine to took same prices here.

I often license my stuff to AFP, a big competitor to Reuters and have to specifically say no distribution to 3rd party stock footage agencies. I bet that collection has a lot of footage from independent freelancers.

"Price slider alert"
After the recent dust-up about the $50 slider, which then went to $80. And then to $500 for awhile (for me).
Today, it is back down at $150.
Can anyone else confirm this?

No No, It's 150+ . See the + ?
I don't understand the purpose of the left hand slider. Is there a buyer that only wants expensive clips?
