It was about a month or 2 before I had my first sale. It was for video. Sound files I'm not sure how they do...

I think that most clips priced under $40 are hobby grade and not pro-grade. Your gear and body will expire before you make much profit at lower prices than that.

We joined 4 months ago and sold our first song 2 months ago for Halloween. We now have uploaded over 200+ music clips and have had 2 more sales.

We are very happy so far as that is about 1 sale a month, and we are hoping for a better turn out in 2013!

I joined in June and got my first sale in September

Stock is not a get rich quick business. Takes patience and a lot of products uploaded and approved. When you have a couple thousand then "maybe" you will make regular sales.

Approximately one month; from feb 3 till March 5, of this year. I joined P Sept 22 of 2011 but didn't upload until feb.

We've been on several other audio marketplaces for about 2 years and pond5 has been the best.

We are looking to make maybe a serious dollar amount in maybe 5 to 10 years. Hopefully production music will be our career in which to retire. Let's face it, it's not to physically demanding of a profession and seems rather nice to sit back and still make production music say 20 years from now. However we do work very hard at this, about 5-7 hours a day with little to no pay back, yet.

If you take a look at AudioQuattro...They sold their top song over 700+ times...

You have had 2 sales already, soundguru, we have had 3. That's pretty good considering that most of pond5 sales are HD 1080 videos.

You could try and post some links on your artist page here at pond5...maybe to your website, our your social media networks...You could add your best tracks to your artist page too...maybe a bit about yourself.

Pond5 has the traffic, they rank 15,000+ on alexa...well above most audio marketplaces. Two years from now you could have the top spot, but we hope that it is us.
