What can I do to make my footage seen?

Wonder if all the footage he intends to upload here are his own copyright material. And if so why didn't he use some of his work in those 5 commercials.

I'm a little confused too. dtiberio is asking all kinds of questions but listens to none of the answers. He pushes the price issue to suggest low pricing yet he is so new to P5 and maybe the industry in selling stock he asks what to sell at, then doesn't listen and suggests to others newbie to drop prices. Is this our old friend back with a new name. From what I can see, he has over 1,500 clips and has made a grant total of $122. Not much to base suggestions on. Those who are here to make a profit does that in a day and a few sales. At that rate he might be making at least .05 cents an hour ;) I hope he makes a profit but he is leading new artists in the wrong direction based on his experience and selling statistics so far. He also hasn't offered anyone else to finish the 95 that he couldn't do.
A lot of great artists and friends here for everyone. It does pay to listen a little more and learn from the silent ones that are making a good living here. Your $10 clips will not find any support here from consistent sellers and profit makers.
Good luck ;)

okanakdeniz, those are some beautiful clips. Keep adding stuff like that and you'll have sales in no time, but as these guys said, don't sell yourself short. You obviously take a lot of pride in your work, don't let people take it for less than it's worth. Good luck.

I don't know if you are deliberately trying to pick a fight but to answer a few of your points:
"I was thinking a few minutes ago, if you guys are doing so well selling videos for $50 each, then why don't you upload as many videos as you can like crazy?"
The difference is that the long established sellers here have found out over time what sells and what does not. You may be able to upload 2000 videos in a week (which I find to be a dubious claim but will give you the benefit of the doubt) but you will not be able to shoot and keyword 2000 videos a week to give the diversity buyers seek. Also looking at your portfolio you have many clips uploaded in different sizes. To me the same clip at 720x480, 1920x1080, 1440x1080, 1280x960 and 1280x720 is 1 clip and not 5. You will not sell 5 times as many as you would with 1 clip. You have also not keyworded your clips correctly by both "spamming" and in some cases by missing out important and very obvious keywords that would help you get sales.
With regards to price, if I want to buy a clip for a travel programme on London, it doesn't matter if you offer all your clips for free, they are no good to me so price is completely irrelevant. You will however likely annoy buyers as some of your clips contain keywords like LONDON and UK even though the clips are from Columbia.
"please explain why you have not. why don't you upload another 2,000 videos and make another $2,000 per month? what is stopping you? "
Tied in with my earlier answer the 2000 clips would need to be of diverse and wide ranging material, not the same thing from a different angle. That all takes time to shoot and edit properly with accurate keywords that will attract buyers.
Yes stock is a numbers game but those numbers are not just the price or the number of clips, they are also about the diversity of clips. Suppose all you shoot is Christmas themed material. You are likely to sell a lot in September to December but little else the rest of the year.
You have 60 clips that come up when I search your portfolio for the word "flower". If I search P5 for the same word I get almost 60,000 results. What do you think the chances are of a buyer wading through all these options? At least try and identify the type of flower.
I currently make a few hundred $ a month from my clips which many people think is low for the number of clips I have in my portfolio. I have explained why I think this is the case in other threads but as I learn about the business and upload more clips I can see a constant growth in my monthly income. Ironically some of most recent sales have been high priced clips that I forgot I had uploaded at a higher price than normal for my "general" material.
You can chose to listen to people on here or not. It depends on if you are doing this to make money or not. Your choice.

"TheEngineer, are you a spammer because you have the keyword 'cloudy' on your best selling debt clock video? there is no sky or clouds in your video. what were you saying about my 'london' keyword? same must apply to you, right?"
No, it was a cloudy day when the clip was shot which affects the light conditions outdoors and is relevant to buyers as a cloudy day will give you much less contrast in your images.
So that is my reason that I feel cloudy is acceptable (marginal I will agree).
So why do 11 of your videos (at the time of righting this post) have UK in them when they are nothing to do with the UK? A cynic might think you copied someone's keywords rather than came up with your own (as you also include ENGLAND, BIG BEN, EUROPE, and PARLIAMENT in your keywords
You have a number of clips that feature just a few fingers / a hand and yet they have both MAN and WOMAN as keywords.
Perhaps you could explain what STATEN has to do with 31 of your ferry clips? (Or did you search for Ferry and find Staten Island Ferry?)
I can accept that a "few" clips might get some incorrect keywords when you are doing thousands of clips (as I have done) but there is a huge difference between genuine errors and deliberate spamming / copying of other people's work.

Don't forget more traditional methods as well like mail shots (depending on what you are promoting and your target audience).

dtiberio you have completely alienated almost everyone here. The spam is outrageous as TE has stated.
On you question why not drop prices. If you looked through the threads you will see that I dropped over 2,500 clips to $15 for over six months. Nothing, income dropped and number of sales increase was marginal. If you believe every clips will sell or most clips will sell multiple times you are in the wrong business. It is not the case with anyone. Those who plan and get the right subject at the right time are the lucky ones.
You ask why we are not trying to upload thousands, well guess what those who make the most upload the most and the better quality.
Suggestion, stop uploading and fix your spam as others have said. That hurts everyone here and no one likes a spammer. Everyone has some spam in the minds of others but try to avoid it. Biggest suggestion, you have asked all the question, you have been given a lot of very valuable business advise. Now go quiet and fix the spam and keep uploading and keep your $10 prices if you feel that is a good business decision and never make any money worthwhile. Go quiet and get to work fixing your mass uploads for everyone here.

Actually, having sold 30% of your stock is good. Of course you have to take into account the time a collection has been online. You can't predict what a buyer will go after so you need to be diverse to keep constant income.
Why don't you go ahead and keep doing what you are doing for a few years and see how your profit goes, and we will re discuss then, I predict at your rates you will be up around $300 total.
I know it can be hard to take suggestions man, but these guys are trying to help you.
