Super Slow review time anyone?

Supposedly they were starting to catch up, but that doesn't appear to be the case. And with NAB going, it's probably going to get worse for awhile.

I uploaded 240 fractal flames and sent them to the curator about a day ago. I think it was today that I got word of their approval. That is pretty damn fast!

Why the long delay? If business is so good that the cue is backed up 4 weeks, why don't they hire more staff to review clips?

Hijacking the thread here, but we have just had our local government elections here in South Africa and we've got some great footage that we'd like to get reviewed as soon as possible. We e-mailed a request through a few hours ago, but is there any other way to alert the Pond5 Curators about this? What is the usual procedure for a quick turnaround on news/current footage on P5?

Usually an email will suffice, if the P5 crew agree that the footage has Current News potential they approve it almost immediately. Its possible they haven't read the email as yet..

I still have clips dated 4-28 in queue....patience....

Its strange, I uploaded a couple of AE templates about a week ago, one was approved almost instantly and another which was uploaded the next day is still sitting waiting to be approved. strange...

Txs, they did get to it last night. They said they will expedite timely material which really helps for news stuff.
Prior to this we had clips from the middle of April that were approved about two days ago… it does seem to be taking longer.
Someone on one of these threads wrote a few weeks ago that if we were logging clips every day then we would have clips being approved everyday! When I get impatient with the wait, it helps to think of that!

Is it normal for the review process to take a week up to a month? I'm just asking because I'm new and still trying to learn my way around the site.

If that's the norm then I will continue to work on footage and upload them when they're finished. Just worried a tad bit that I might not be making what the site needs.
