Have to agree as well, however not about time lapse being considered lesser valued.

Aside from the initial camera price, 4K time lapse still needs software that can accommodate it, a computer that can handle it, the same amount of storage space needed and equal bandwidth to upload as real time. I take exception to the idea that pointing a 4K resolution camera at a subject for 10 seconds somehow has more value than a meticulously stitched together time lapse rendered in 4K. I realize some people spent a lot for the newest, latest cutting edge cameras, but that's the cost of being among the first when the technology is new. You don't have a lot of competition, enjoy it while it lasts, cause it won't.

The storage space and bandwidth issues are identical to Pond5 as well, no need to make a distinction between time-lapse and real time. It's artificial, distracting and irrelevant. The minimum price for all 4K should be much higher than 10 clams, 100% agreed.

I agree Atom. My 7Q shoots in RAW DNG, and I could see the exact same workflow for a DSLR shooter to have to go through.

Not sure why people don't think time lapse have the same value :-) 4k is 4k.

Thumbs up for a 4k minimum price!
80 is a good starting point.

Please p5 consider this, and prevent killing this new market before it starts. Other agencies are already recognizing this, and the lesser value 4k clips are making it a waist of time to upload here.

P5 isn't going to control pricing, or I don't believe they will ever do that. Maybe when it costs them more to store the files than they are worth... which I could see happening as sizes triple and quadruple for 4k

Well if we can't all stay in agreement they wont. If they have a minimum price for SD, and a minimum price for HD, then why wouldn't they have a minimum price for 4k?

Also agree with higher pricing for 4k, if i jump in 4k train i`ll price my clips in 80-100$ price range.

Once you start editing and it takes 20 times longer to work with a file you might consider a little higher :-)
