Tripod

Carry an empty sandbag that has a zipper. Fill it with rocks or sand at the location. If you carry water, soda cans, batteries or extra equipment, the sandbag can be filled with anything reasonably heavy and used to weigh down the tripod by hanging it from beneath the tripod head.
