I don't know but i have tried to upload since June, and i have totally given up. only pond5 does not have my recent clips because each time i try and fail, i hit the button for other sites and when they pick up, i upload there. Yet pond5 is where i want my prime clips since i can dictate the price. i end up selling very special clips cheaply at VB and SS. i am very frustrated person.

Authentication failure for ftp and ftp2. Times out after two attempts. Please fix it. Thanks!

There are other threads. P5 has answered a few times and has said to only use ftp.pond5.com not ftp1,2,3 or 4.

I had a similar problem about FTP in a few days. I added 2 or 3 files to upload. When it finished, it started to upload the same file again. I noticed that when I control my uploads. There were 4 same files uploaded. I already use FTP for different servers, but it never happened before.

Been trying to upload for about two months now. The first file in the list gets constanly repeated and eternally stuck in processing. Been on to support three times and they have been helpful and admitted that their engineers are aware of the problem. They actually fixed the problem and it worked for one PSD file and now is not working again. I have so far four identical files stuck in processing! I've wasted 30/40 hours of upload time on this.

Has anyone else had this problem? And was it fixed?

Not a single problem uploading to P5 on my end, I render to photojpeg, and use Filezilla normally just use ftp. vs ftp2 unless.

Can you define repeating or looping? what is it actually doing? what are you seeing on your end?, I know it's hard to describe but I have seen it happen on ftp where everything seems to upload in a nanosecond with out actually uploading to the server, usually there is a error message that comes with that.

The settings I use in Filezilla are these:
Host: ftp.pond5.com
Protocol: FTP- FIle transfer protocol
Encryption: Only use plain FTP (insecure)
Logon type: Normal
User
pass

Works 99% of the time for me and the files usually show up on the site in an hour or so....never really paid close attention to that as I usually set everything to upload while I sleep and then start tagging files in the morning.

weather, how many are you sending at once? Sometimes I upload 100 in an hour and it seems to screw up the queue. The processing sits there for a while on some, then they just disappear. Do you verify all the files you uploaded make it thru?
